Help Center
Plain-language, step-by-step instructions — no technical background needed. Click a section below to jump straight to it.
1. Getting started
- 1
Create your account
Go to the sign-up page, enter your email and a password, and click Create account. You'll land on a short setup screen right away.
- 2
Name your business
Type your business name and click Continue. This creates your account's workspace — you'll see a dashboard next.
- 3
Fill in your business profile
Go to Settings in the left sidebar and fill in your industry, website, phone number, and address. Your AI assistant uses this to describe your business accurately.
2. Set up your AI voice assistant
- 1
Go to AI Agent, then New Agent
Click AI Agent in the sidebar, then New Agent.
- 2
Give it a name, a voice, and a greeting
Pick a voice from the dropdown and write the greeting — this is the first thing a caller hears, e.g. "Thanks for calling [Your Business]! How can I help today?"
- 3
Describe your business and its goal
In plain sentences, describe what your business does and what you want the assistant to accomplish on a call (answer questions, book appointments, qualify leads — whatever fits).
- 4
Add guardrails (optional, but recommended)
Guardrails are rules your assistant must always follow, no matter what a caller says — for example, "Never quote a price without saying it's an estimate."
- 5
Set up call transfers (optional)
Add a rule for when the assistant should hand off to a real person — for example, when a caller explicitly asks for one.
- 6
Save, then test it
Click Create agent, scroll down to Test Your Agent, and click Start test call to talk to it yourself right in your browser.
3. Teach it what it should know
Your assistant only answers using what you've given it here — it won't make up prices, policies, or availability.
- 1
Go to Knowledge Base
Click Knowledge Base in the sidebar.
- 2
Add FAQs
Under Business FAQs, type common questions and answers — hours, policies, services offered, whatever your customers usually ask.
- 3
Upload documents or import a webpage
Under Add Knowledge, you can paste text directly, upload a PDF or Word document, or import the text from a page on your existing website.
- 4
Add your product catalog
If you sell products, scroll to Product Catalog. For a handful of items, add them one at a time under Add Manually. For a full catalog, use Import CSV — download the sample file shown there to see exactly what columns to include (only the product name is required).
4. Put it where customers can reach it
There are two ways people reach your assistant — pick one or use both.
Option A: A QR code for print
- 1
Go to Campaigns, then New Campaign
Click Campaigns in the sidebar, then New Campaign.
- 2
Fill in the details and save
Give it a name, choose where it'll be used (postcard, product packaging, storefront, etc.), and write a short headline for the page people see after scanning. A QR code is generated automatically when you save.
- 3
Download and print it
On the campaign page, choose a size (larger for print, e.g. business cards vs. storefront signs) and download the QR code as a PNG or SVG file to send to your printer.
Option B: A widget on your website
- 1
Go to Website Widgets, then New Widget
Click Website Widgets in the sidebar, then New Widget, and pick which AI agent it should connect to.
- 2
Copy the embed snippet
After saving, you'll see a small code snippet (one line, starting with
<script>). Copy it. - 3
Paste it into your website
Paste the snippet into your website's HTML, right before the closing
</body>tag. If you use a website builder (Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify, etc.), look for a "Custom Code" or "Embed" section in its settings — that's where this kind of snippet goes. A small chat button will appear on your site once it's added.
5. Handle the leads you get
- 1
Check the Leads page
Every qualifying conversation shows up under Leads in the sidebar, with a summary and contact info the caller gave.
- 2
Export to a spreadsheet
Click Export CSV on the Leads page to download everything into a file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets.
- 3
Send leads to your CRM automatically (optional)
On the same page, under Outbound Webhooks, add the URL your CRM or Zapier/Make gives you for receiving new data, and every new lead will be sent there automatically going forward.
